Sunrise Draughting Services is the trading name for both Sunrise Draughting Limited and Sunrise Draughting Pty Limited. Sunrise Draughting Limited is based in Auckland, New Zealand and Sunrise Draughting Pty Limited is based in Gold Coast, Australia. Sunrise Draughting Services provides services in structural steel detailing. We work for clients across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
We specialise in producing workshop and erection drawings for structural steel fabricators out of architectural and engineering design drawings. Our highly experienced draftspersons have completed many successful projects including residential, commercial, educational, heavy industrial and mining buildings in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. We take jobs from a couple of tons to hundreds of tons. No job is too small or too large for us. We take a lot of pride in our ability to tackle tough jobs.
We use the most sophisticated 3D modeling software Tekla Structures. Its superior steel detailing technology allows structures to be modeled with speed, accuracy and clash free to fabricate. Any problems can be identified at an early stage. Tekla Structures automatically produces drawings and reports, together with rapid generation of CAM data for integration with CNC machinery to reduce hours of labor time. We still use StruCad for the clients who prefer this wonderful 3D modeling software though it is gradually substitued by Tekla Structures.
The managing Director, May Wu has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Structural Steel Engineering. She has three years site engineering, four years structural design and thirteen years structural steel detailing experiences in China and New Zealand.
I like detailing for two reasons: my knowledge background and my detail-oriented character. Quality and accuracy are the most important values and principals that guided me throughout my detailing career. In the years I have been detailing, I have made very few errors. My work is always regarded as superior and has gained many returning clients for my employers. After leading this business, my clients have never regretted taking on our services and I never lose a client either.
